Nara Chandrababu Naidu is an Indian politician who has been Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh since 2014. He is the first chief minister of the state since it was divided.

ANDHRA PRADESH SCHEMES

1. ANDHRA PRADESH FREE SMARTPHONE SCHEME 2017

• The main motto of the scheme is to enable youth in the state to transact and connect digitally. The government wants to increase the digital literacy and make Andhra Pradesh is a digital state through this scheme.
• Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister is taking this initiative to fulfill the dream of Shri Narendra Modi of making India a cashless economy. There are many intelligent students belonging to the poor families who are unable to live up to their potential because of lack of financial support and resources. Hence, the Government of AP has decided to distribute free smartphones to such people.
• The smartphones will also empower people of the state with information and connect them to the world. Government has aims to distribute Smartphone for 60 Lakh Poor students belonging to BPL families. State government of Andhra Pradesh took very good initiative for economically backward student and provides them free smartphone.

2. ANDHRA PRADESH SWASTHYA VIDYA VAHINI SCHEME 

• The State Government aims to provide nutritious food and teach students about the good habits. In this scheme, near about 45,000 medical students from MBBS, post graduation medical courses & nursing stream will participate in the program to generate awareness amongst school student.
• The participated candidate visit villages to create awareness among the kids and elders about individual cleanliness and keeping the surroundings clean. This scheme helps many individuals in the state in keeping the state healthy and proper. Cleanliness is not a work which we should do forcefully. It is a good habit and healthy way of our healthy life.
• All type of cleanliness is very necessary for our good health whether it is personal cleanliness, surrounding cleanliness, environment cleanliness, or workplace cleanliness or school, college, office, etc cleanliness. Regarding this, state government of Andhra Pradesh took very good initiative for school student and running scheme like Swasthya Vidya Vahini.

3. NEW LIST OF ANDHRA PRADESH GOVERNMENT SCHEMES 2017

The state government of Andhra Pradesh has  launched many welfare and ambitious schemes in the state for the citizens of the state. Here is the complete list of all the government schemes of the state.

4. ANDHRA PRADESH AROGYA RAKSHA SCHEME 

• The main motto of this scheme is to achieve “Health for All” and provide them quality health services. The choice of hospital for the treatment is with the patient and entire process including screening, diagnosing, treatment, follow-up and claim of payment are made transparent through online web based processing to prevent any misuse and fraud.
• This scheme aims to provide health for all & providing quality health to the entire population in the state, the state. In order to facilitate the effective implementation of the scheme, the State Government has set up the Dr. NTR Vaidya Seva Trust for this scheme.

5. ANDHRA PRADESH FREE BICYCLE SCHEME 

• The main motto of this scheme is to provide free bicycles to the girl’s student to reduce school dropout ratio in the state. The dropout rate among the girl student was high as the parents are not willing to send their daughter to schools outside their village without a proper mode of transport.
• This scheme helps girls student who finds it difficult to attend school due to restricted mobility. Besides improving school attendance, cycles also encourage students to participate in extra and co-curricular activities.
• The basic aim of this state-funded scheme is to enhance enrollment and ensure retention of students in schools by providing a mode of transport which would make students self-reliant and also encourage them to complete secondary education.
• The state government of Andhra Pradesh plans to implement this scheme in all 13 districts and more than 1.80 lakh girl students will be benefited under this Free Bicycle Scheme.

6. ANDHRA PRADESH CHANRANNA BIMA YOGANA

The main motto of this scheme is to provide relief to the families of unorganized workers in case of death or disability of the unorganized worker. All India statistics shows that Andhra Pradesh is one of the States with a large number of accidents.

The death or disability due to an accident of an unorganized worker results in misery to his family and hardship caused by reduced earnings, medical and other expenditure relating to the accident. Hence, it is an essential to provide accident death and disability insurance to the worker for social security.

Government aimed to cover 1.5 Core workers under the scheme. The Andhra Pradesh Government took very good initiative and provides insurance cover to an unorganized sector worker to make their life easy.
